   Open-source The most successful web server!! Professional! (If your content is just static HTML, and if you have already installed Jana2 as LAN server you don't need Apache, yet!)

2. Jana2
   • ASP, CGI, Perl, CGI/ISAPI for PHP, SSI
   • FTP+SSL
   • (Also see "LAN Server")
   • (Very easy installation and administration!)
3. Sambar
   • ASP, CGI, Perl, CGI/ISAPI for PHP, JavaEngine, WebDAV, SOAP
   • FTP+SSL
   • (Also see "LAN Server")
   • (I have little experience with Sambar)

   • Pure static content
   • Very small and easy
   • SSL support
   • (TinyBox (= GUI frontend) for easier configuration needed)
5. Mini Server
   • Pure static content
   • Small and easy

FTP Server

1. FileZilla Server

   Open-source Installation as Windows-Service possible Easy configuration (In Mozilla products I trust ;-)

3. Sambar -- see "LAN Server"
4. FTP-Mini-Server
   • Small and easy
   • (But: Was not compatible with FTP-Uploader -- but I did not make any further tests)

LAN Server

   Server: www (HTTP+SSL), DNS, FTP+SSL, eMail (POP3, IMAP, SMTP), NNTP, SNTP Proxy: HTTP, FTP, FTP Gateway, Proxy Cache, Socks 4/5, Telnet, RealPlayer, Extra Gateways (!) Dial-up automation (event/request- or scheduling controlled) Very easy configuration! (DHCP server is missing!)

2. Sambar
   • Server: www (HTTP+SSL), DNS, FTP+SSL, eMail (POP3, IMAP, SMTP, MTA, WebMail), TFTP, DHCP
   • Proxy: HTTP, FTP, NNTP, Socks
   • Performance Monitor, UserDirs, Watcher, Search Engine, Reporting & Network Utils
   • (I have little experience with Sambar -- I started with Jana2 ;-)
3. 602LAN SUITE
   • Server: eMail (POP3, SMTP), DHCP
   • Proxy: HTTP, FTP, Proxy Cache, DNS, Socks 4/5, Telnet, RealPlayer
   • NAT (!) -- Network Address Translation
   • Dial-up automation
   • (I have little experience with 602LAN Suite, too)
